How are donations used?
Donations are used to compensate Butler University Student Athletes under the new Name, Image & Likeness rules for work performed on behalf of All Good Dawgs Inc. (AGD) partner nonprofit organizations. Butler Student Athletes apply for membership into AGD and sign contracts detailing the work to be completed on behalf of the nonprofit organization providing marketing support they may not otherwise afford.
How are donations awarded?
All unrestricted donations will be allocated to support Butler Men’s Basketball Student Athletes
The allocations committee will facilitate the connections and the value of the services provided by Student Athlete based on the value each brings to an NIL opportunity.
The allocations committee will use a variety of data and have the flexibility to best match opportunities between Student Athletes and nonprofit organizations.
Donors may specify funds to be allocated to specific sports and/or Student Athletes
The allocations committee will facilitate the connections and the value of the services provided by Student Athlete based on the value each brings to an NIL opportunity.
Are all sports and their Student Athletes eligible to participate?
Yes. All unrestricted donations will be utilized to support Men’s Basketball Student Athletes. Donors may restrict funds to be used to support specific sports and/or specific Student Athletes.
What percentage of donations goes to Student Athletes?
The goal of AGD is for over 90% of all donations to be awarded directly to the Student Athletes. The organization realizes that some funds will be required to operate; however, every effort is being made to keep those costs to a minimum. The executive director and all board members serve voluntarily and receive no financial benefit from serving AGD.
Do the Student Athletes benefit in any other ways?
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes! All Good Dawgs, Inc. is a Code Section 501 (c) (3) organization. Contributions to All Good Dawgs, Inc. are tax deductible as charitable contributions.
